How are you viewing the footage?
Interlace footage is going to be apparent when there is movement.
Do not use a interlace filter.
Capture, Edit, Output final ref movie w/current settings (Interlaced and all) Drop that file into compressor and create DVD ready files.

What is the end file you’re looking to create?

Export your timeline “current settings” making a reference file.
Drop that file into a compression software like episode, squeeze, compressor, – and then create your end file, Flash, mpeg, QT, wmv, ect.

If you export “Current Settings” you create a QT that is pro-rez. Your HD timeline.

You can output Quicktime Conversions and select any other format if you want to create a different file. you best bet is always to export “current settings” ref file & then drop that file into a compression software like “compressor” and create an alt file, IE; h.264, flash, mov, wmv, ect.

Look up “Episode” compression software – it does it all.

You’re exporting a large, hi-rez movie file.
This won’t play back (likely) smoothly off an internal drive. Don’t worry about it. Encode it to what you need.

You can use ISO’s well above 400 and still have great looking video.
