I had this issue as well, turned out to be a faulty XLR cable.
Even still there is some minor noise with mine.

    Call tech.

They both shoot 1080p, so they’ll match just fine, DVCPRO HD is a thin raster format. You’ll likely have more noise in the 200 footage next to DSLR.

Shoot 1080/24p on the HVX, it fits into 1080 sequence as it should. They’ll be the same format/specs.

You can, you’ll need to isolate the guy as you have other green in the image.

Scope him out – on his own layer, just garbage matte style, pull some green out, might help a little. But follow Joseph’s advise in the future.

You want to Log & Transfer the P2 media from the folder/hard drive into FCP.

You shot 720p/24 so that is what you have.

Try dropping the 720p material into your 1080 edit, res it up to fill the screen, in most cases this is fine. You can also, open up the 720p quicktime files in compressor and convert clips to 1080p first and then re-import them into the edit.

Your sample pic is very small…

I would open it up in Ps and pull the green out if it’s a still or color correct in Pr removing the green.

Have you tried mastering to ” P2 ” format?
    Opens up on any NLE.

  • You should be fine with the ZIP file, but it will be a different “sum” then the folder/files it was made from is all.

You might want to think about redundancies with your media, always on at least 2 drives, if you’re not already.
