Relax.
You have backups of sequences. Auto Save Vault right?

Also, quit FCP. Trash prefs. Reboot. Repair Permissions.
Create new project. Copy from old proj. sequences into new sequences in new Proj.

How big is your proj. file?
How long our those sequences?

Clips don’t come in looped. Maybe loopable. How long is the track before import? What is the format of the clip?

shooting 720p 30 will not give you slo-mo.
Where you in variable frame rate mode? You should have increased the frame rate. Did you shoot 60fps?

I won’t use XDcam.
Watch the tapeless tutorial.
Buy a hard drive -they’re SOOOOO cheap now.
Use ProRes.
