Yeah, those Mountain Dew spots were shot by Traktor. Almost all of it is film with some 3D facial expressions and such. But the actors, set, and chopper are all the real deal. However, to simulate the lighting, I’m sure they did have to use Radiosity/FinalGather/GI to match.

For the most part it looks like the GI/Final Gather render to me more than the material properties.

If you’re going to post a link, it might as well be to a jpg instead of a .rar of a jpeg. You’ll find you won’t get much response from folks when you post a rar because usually only more DOS/Windows compression fanboys bother with rar in the first place. Yes I know it’s great compression, I’m just saying most ppl don’t use it.
That being said to post embeded images in your posts, check out Kathlyn’s tutorial on it:

Quicktime is a suite of codecs. Some of those codecs support an Alpha channel like IFF, TIFF, PNG, Animation, while most do not. You need to find an AVI codec that does support an alpha channel. I can’t recommend one because I’ve never used an AVI before.

I love IL mostly for the Super Rack focus which does a true camera defocus/DOF effect unlike gauss blur or compund blur.
The text type on effect is still my fave for it.
