you can not apply tracking data to a mask. Either overall, or individual points.

Why, oh why, oh WHY there is no parameter for position of a mask (only overall shape) I have NO IDEA.
I assume this would be an easy thing for Adobe to add.

assuming D1 output, your source images seem a little large. However I am not sure how far you have to push in and what kind of detail you need.
fwiw, CC sphere is one of the quickest sphere filters for AE. Canoa is MUCH slower, but has more options.

selective lighting, common in other node based compositing apps for vfx, and a feature request I have been constantly requesting to Adobe.
I wish. The other reply to this is a workaround, albeit sounds, still, I wish Adobe paid more attention to those of us trying to get more vfx features out of AE.
