Well goddamnit, I just downloaded 4.3 and it still will not take my FCP movie. I tried delteing the extension and changing it, to no avail. It’s a 13.5 minute uncompressed movie 8 bit SD NTSC.
It just won’t load into Squeeze!!!

When you export a still, it looks squished because of square pixels. You have to open in PS and change the size from 480 to 540 and that should fix it

Yes, I’ll agree with Arnie, Nattress film effects is almost the only plugin I use, it has everything.

What do you mean by a video mixdown? Never heard of that. Audio mixdown is under sequence>render all>mixdown.

After you set your alpha channel make sure you set it to straight, not premultiplied, which is the default.

Rick, that’s what I do, but the above mentioned movies won’t stick.

I used QT movie from FCP, self contained, do not recompress, same codec as sequence which is DV NTSC. But as I said, I have the same problem from 8 bit projects exported the same way.
