Just be patient. How big is your card? I have the same experience where progress bar quickly jumps to 95% completed and then just hangs for maybe 10min for a full 16gb card- never timed it but it felt like 10min.
But then it finishes and all is fine. Not fast but a terrific underrated feature of the af100. I often give the client exposed cards after copying them first for safety. Also allowing copying of select clips is fantastic.

What Noah said. There is a pin in the adapter that engages the iris ring of the FD lens that enables you to manually adjust iris. If it is not engaged the iris opening won’t change. Lock or unlock but I can’t remember the preferred setting.

    Dan,
I use Leopard,HD Log and verify. I use FW800 bus powered 7200rpm 2.5 drives with nothing else on them in the field. Ram upgraded to max. Perhaps you skip the verification stage? That would save some time.

    Dan,
    My G4 Powerbook 1.67gh downloads a 16gb in about 16min. or 1 gb/min. FW800 to a 7200rpm HD.
How can I achieve 2gb/min or about a half hour for a full 64gb dnld? It takes me almost an hour to dnld a 64gb P2 card.

    thx,

No 8gb limit. I’m using 16gb cards as I write this (time lapse work). You may have to upgrade the firmware on your camera, but that’s it.
