I have kind of fixed the problem for now. If I ever have to make this piece for the client I might be straight back.

    Cheers anyway.

Fixed by setting “Position Subframe” under the Emitter to 10xSmooth.

    Thanks for the reply.

I am on Mac and exporting to the desktop. I have tried lots of tests and still get the same result.

Its strange because it suddenly happened mid project when I didn’t change anything and now happens all the time.

    Any more thoughts?

Well I have just figured it out by adding another twist deformer and rotating it 180 degrees. I have alot of animation and keyframing to do on this project so if anyone has a better way that would be great as this could take quite a while.

    Cheers

Yeah I did realise that after the first one. Thanks for your input.

After a very long two weeks I my brain doesn’t work as logically as it should.

Thanks for the quick reply even if it does mean another 3 2hour renders!

    Hi,

Yeah I do have cs5 so I assume I have mocha. I have it on this mac but need to double check it’s on my laptop which I need to edit on shoot tomorrow. On first glance i’m confused, but already it seems so much more powerful than the AE tracker. Looks like I have two hours of tutorial watching before tomorrow!

    Thanks for all your help,

    Chris

Feel a complete idiot this morning. I re-rendered the c4D file at 25 FPS with the same name just in a different folder. When I tested it I still used the 30FPS render by mistake which created the mismatch!

Thanks for your help anyway it’s amazing what you do when your minds gone numb from a hard days work, it’s also great to see things with a fresh mind in the morning!

    Thanks again,

    Chris

    Thanks for your reply.

I thought this was the problem originally thats why i re-rendered the C4D file at 25 FPS (the same as everything else). I’ve double and triple checked and everything is 25 FPS as it should be yet this problem still persists. I will be calling it a day in an hour so will get back to you tomorrow if I find a solution.

    All the best.
