Having an Osprey card on my production PC running Vegas 10 (although I don’t use it for audio) its inputs appear on the Microsoft Sound mapper so you can select a pair there and then select the Microsoft Sound Mapper in Vegas to record audio from it.
But you can’t get multiple inputs as the card doesn’t speak ASIO so you will have to be satisfied with two mono (or one stereo) inputs only.

For what it’s worth ….
I run Vegas Pro 10e on a current Dell desktop running Windows 10 and on an old MacBook Pro under Boot Camp running XP.
Swap between them with no probs.

The “free” upgrade is only for Windows Home. If you want Windows Pro, that’ll cost’ya.
Where did you get that from? It’s not what it says on the Microsoft Windows 10 FAQ page.

Been using a Dell XPS Windows 8.1 machine to run Vegas Pro 10e for nearly a year now without any issues.
So, supported or not, it CAN work (not that it helps your issue I’m sorry).
