FYI–the studio is probably Warner Bros. and the movie is probably Focus. I don’t have any inside knowledge, but that’s what the clues point to.

“Lol. Well, of course, you whippersnapper. I’ve been using TC afore you was born. No, the semicolon doesn’t take. It was the first thing I tried. I’m trying to match some window burn which is NDF, and the modify command only seems conscious of DF. Also, I can only enter TC for first frame, even though there is a checkbox for current frame. The checkbox is grayed out.
My guess is that Modify TC is currently sort of non-functional, but I’m checking around before I enter a report. Anybody have different experiences?

Ain’t taken it off the dock, BUT… I just got a new Macbook Pro and I’ve pretty much decided not to put it on there. Avid and CC are already there. Both are really fast on it. Still, I have it on three active machines, and I expect to continue to use it, occasionally, for some time to come. I still like to version promos on it, as I’ve built up some very solid shortcuts over the years. But with this new Macbook pro, I did finally have the “ah, here at last” moment. Avid and CC for me.

Totally agree. I think Avid gets the same thing though. It has a highly evolved, sophisticated workflow, and gets doinked all the time because people coming from elsewhere–including myself–don’t immediately get it. From Legacy, the learning curve is uphill for both.

I’m bummed because I’m planning on a new Macbook pro, but Avid and Mavericks don’t play well yet. I’m hoping this will change soon, but…. Oh, well. I wish I could install Mountain Lion on it. Maybe I’ll run Win 7. Sigh.
