if the firmware on the device is not current, the black magic driver will
update its firmware.I have a decklink studio that got a firmware update when I installed a recent
driver.The best way to solve the problem is to contact your local black magic support
team. They respond pretty quickly. contacting the main office takes too long. -

And thats why the FIRST order of business when I get a new system or O/S
install is to DISABLE automatic updates. -
It works for me ok.

I use 2,000kbps, exporting with a h.264 setting
and it exports an .movCS6

DSLR falls apart when you push it hard.

what sequence setting/size are you using?
I use AVC 100 for everything, never seen that problem.

you have to use a third party capture utility
that came with whatever card you have. -
Paragon comes with it? thats a great value.
OS X has no problem reading NTFS without a driver it just can’t write to it
without help from another utility like paragon.and comes in handy when someone wants a project archived
to an NTFS volume.
