    Hi,

has anyone been able to output any video through a Decklink HD Extreme 2 card, using Premiere CS 6?

I am working on a Macpro with OS 10.7.5 and have already tried all the available drivers ( 8.x.x to 9.6.4) from the Blackmagic website. Nothing seems to work!

When I google this problem i discover many people with this issue but no solutions…

    Anyone? Thanks!

I too am having this issue with the same card. A fellow editor suggested to update the firmware on the Blackmagic card. I have not tried it yet but plan on giving it a shot today.

    Thanks Fellow Bovines,

    Hi justin,

i’ve been thinking about this too but i have no idea how to do it? Nothing to be found on the Blackmagic support page…
Please let me know if and how you did it and with what results?
    Thanks in advance!

    Hi,

I have the similliar issue. Decklink card looks like it;s working fine.
I have th video and audio output in other software. But in premiere CS6 i get only audio, no video monitoring.

Have you found any solution to this issue?

[Justin Gray] “A fellow editor suggested to update the firmware on the Blackmagic card.”

if the firmware on the device is not current, the black magic driver will
    update its firmware.

I have a decklink studio that got a firmware update when I installed a recent
    driver.

The best way to solve the problem is to contact your local black magic support
team. They respond pretty quickly. contacting the main office takes too long.

Ok, thanks. Mine didn’t update whilst installing the new drivers but I will surely contact Blackmagic about this. Good luck everyone. I will share my further findings here.

As far as I know the BM driver for CS 6.03 have not been released yet. AJA just released theirs last week.
