I tried the procedure of uninstalling cc 2014.1 then running adobe cleaner
    app then re-installing.

projects with pro res are still showing off line status.

I know right? This worked in final cut pro 7 didn’t?

Where you could set it up to output a 23.976 sequence as 29.97 so
you could at least see the image on your broadcast monitor.

my current work around is to nest the 23.976 sequence in a 29.97 one,
but that isn’t much real help or useable for color correction in
    the timeline.

Read on another thread that renaming the prores file then reconnecting
media seems to work and it does…but that would be painful on a huge project.

I just changed a dash in the file name to an underscore and also deleted the cache file associated
    right next to it.

    Then it worked.

Kevin, where are we at on a fix for this?

My mac with Kona3G has this problem, but not my mac with Black magic interface, if that helps at all.

    having the same issue.

  • Concur the setup you have for Disk I/O is inadequate.

Here I have the media cache and media source folders on Raid 5 arrays.
4gb fiber channel (one room) and Pci-express direct connected (another room)

    Never had any sluggish performance.
