    Hi everyone,

I’m working on an iMac (currently fastest version I could buy) and coming from Adobe CC.

I have just updated to 2014.1 and it isn’t updating my shortcuts or “keyboard layout presets”. The weird thing is my workspaces came through right away. But I can’t get my shortcuts.

Is there a manual way to do this?

in premiere try a manual sync settings it’s in the “premiere cc”
part, next to your login id.

Thank you so much for your help! Would you be able to elaborate a little? I can’t find the manual sync that you are referring to. Thanks.

Sorry now I think I know what you are saying. Where it says, “Sync Settings Now”. Yep, I’ve tried that several times and my shortcut preset does not sync. :/

Did you plugins import ok? Open up an older version project like in 7.2.2 and sync your keyboard shortcuts to your adobe account and user settings. Close project. Open a new 8.0 project and you should be able to access your shortcuts in theory as your new or first usage of 8.0 requires a login to start the trial, but since you own it, it should auto detect your account. I’ve also heard of people manually going into their adobe project folders related to previous projects and finding their plugins folder and copying those over into where your new adobe 8.0 install folder is located and pasting it into the plugins folder, so they can use their old plugins in a new version. You may try finding those files related to your user or profile settings and see about copying that file(s) into the folder in 8.0 that houses your 8.0 profile data. I’d try those few things or contact customer support.
