Lloyd are you on a pc?

The control panel has some option I think they called it disability
options (for those with less than stellar eye sight) it would modify windows
    to show much larger fonts.

I wonder if that would do anything.

if your on a mac, not sure it has something like that.

[Duke Sweden] “it’s one big spyware program. It collects keystrokes, passwords, credit card and bank info, your location, etc”

All of that can be turned off. I’m running tests on my office pc with it.

But what I really don’t like is that updates cannot be disabled.

I just digitized a box of Digibeta tapes with a kona3g
    and premiere 2015.0.1

    no problems.

  • I waited for 2015.0.1 before I updated…seems to be working well for me.

Dustin, have you tried making a new sequence then copying and pasting
the problem sequence content into the new sequence and exporting?

I remember having to do that in CS 5.5 or 6 on some projects a year or two back.

Some time back I recall reading about not getting more than 8-bit
output on macs…pc didn’t have the issue. Something about the SDI output
    though I think.

    I wonder if its related.

August 3, 2015 at 6:39 pm in reply to: Sound driver issue after Windows 10 update

one thing I noticed on a windows 10 update, the sound was not working
after the upgrade and device manager showed it was ok.

1 reboot and the sound was back.

  • ok figured it out.

It had to do with the “source patching for inserts and overwrites” V1 in the sequence.

the far left V1 was up above in V2. (but it would not insert on any track including v2)
toggled it down to v1 and all is working now. even if I put it back to v2

    odd

[Andy Edwards] “You can keep both versions (CC2014 & CC2015) installed at the same time. Just make sure when you install CC2015 that you go to the advance tab and uncheck remove previous version.”

Thanks! I did not know that!

I’ve been waiting for the bug fix release of 2015 and didn’t want to install it
when I saw it would remove 2014.1 which has been reliable for me.

  • Interesting…I remember this being an issue with CC (aka CS7) but thought they
had fixed that entirely as of CC 2014
