2015.1 mac – will not allow video insert to sequence
2015.1 mac version running os x mavericks (latest version)
When I go to drag a clip from the bin to a sequence it only inserts the audio portion of the file.
If I try to insert edit from the source viewer, same thing, only audio inserts.
the video track is not locked but it is acting as if it is.only work around that won’t work for me is to right click the clip and create a new sequence
from the clip. Then I see video and audio tracks in the sequence.Tried ProRes and AVCHD footage so far, both have the problem.

ok figured it out.
It had to do with the “source patching for inserts and overwrites” V1 in the sequence.
the far left V1 was up above in V2. (but it would not insert on any track including v2)
toggled it down to v1 and all is working now. even if I put it back to v2odd
