I ran into that when I updated to Mavericks.
The cuda preference app said it was current…it was 2 versions old!

hhmm if you have cuda installed and see the icon in system
preferences and no update available comes up when you hit update
and there is no CUDA option in premiere something is a miss.I’m on Mavericks so no ideas but possibly something to have
to do with latest os x.You should be seeing CUDA as an option in premiere.

I have 2 quadro 4000 mac cards, they work fine in cc 2015.
check to see if the geforce driver and or cuda driver can
be updated in system preferences. -
yes keep it 24p, thats the only way to go if DCP is the output.
cutting the HD with 4k shouldn’t be much if any noticeable.
Premiere is really good at scaling down. -
for me the latest 2015 premiere on Mavericks is very stable.

no problems here with 2 systems having Quadro 4000 and latest premiere.

What version of premiere are you on Fabian?
I know in CS6 it’s a huge problem and gopro footage works
better if transcoded.But the later versions of premiere handle it much better.
The latest 2015 CC plays it just fine here for me.

They are competing for the frame buffer at least (for me) it is.
I have a kona3.
Do you have a video monitoring card?
One thing that might help is setting the preference in premiere to disable
output when minimized….then the problem should go away as long as you
minimize premiere first. -
change the sequence from time to frames (I think thats an option)
then go to frame 674…find any effects or asset that is there
to start looking for the problem.I remember having this problem if a still image with CMYK color
space was used. If that is the case, open in photoshop and change
it to rgb. -
