Premiere playback breaks when Davinci Resolve is open
Wondering if I’m the only one with this annoying issue.
For some reason, whenever I have both Resolve and Premiere Pro CC open, my playback in Premiere breaks, as such – Clicking the play button will play the audio, but not the picture, the playback head does not advance, none of the playback buttons work – the only way to stop playback is to click somewhere in the timeline.
As soon as I close Resolve, everything in Premiere goes back to normal.
Aaaack!!
Does this happen to you? Any ideas out there?

They are competing for the frame buffer at least (for me) it is.
I have a kona3.
Do you have a video monitoring card?
One thing that might help is setting the preference in premiere to disable
output when minimized….then the problem should go away as long as you
minimize premiere first.
