Hi Mary:
Thanks for the “how-to” on Ppt to PNG. Now the only issue it seems is that the slides of logos have “jaggies” when I import into Vegas 6.0. Is there a setting I need to select? When I look at the converted slides (logos) pre-import, they look fine. It’s only after I drag and drop in the proj media files and then place on the timeline that they appear “jagged” in the Best Full View on my video preview.
Thanks for your assist,

Hi Alan:
Thanks again for your reply. Basically the web designer told me that the Moyea files don’t or won’t play on all browsers. That’s pretty much a direct quote. I rendered the .avi file at 50% the 720 X 480 aspect ratio and set the kbps @ around 240, audio at 22050Hz / Stereo 48 kbps… And …did two versions: one in Flash8 and the other in H.264.
I uploaded all saved Moyea output files (.flv, .swf, HTML & Jpeg )to the .ftp provided. The main user had no probs getting them to play..it’s only after the web team got involved that things got weird and so now they want .fla
Guess they can’t embed or insert the Moyea files or don’t want to on the website.
That’s pretty much the gist of how I see it.
anyways, : (

Thanks Alan,
From what I understand the .fla is the original source file created to make the .flv, .swf files. and that’s what they want.
They now tell me to send the .avi files (which are huge) and kinda defeating the whole purpose of why I converted them in the first place.
I’ve got a support question to Moyea and hopefully they’ll offer me some assistance.
Thanks for your thorough response,

Just When I thought I had it handled….
….the client’s web designer sends me an e-mail saying he’s having problems with opening the Moyea files and now wants me to send the .fla file. Well I looked and it appears that Moyea Flash MX Std doesn’t create the .fla file which I believe is the orginal source file.Sooo what do I do now? Any thoughts mucho appreciato!!

I agree….even a virtual joystick GUI would be better than entering numbers… while it has the “slide control” it leaves much to be desired.
I managed to get close to what I originally had…even with entering the right numbers, it still didn’t quite look the same. Don’t know why…guess the preview adds it’s own spin on output.
Thanks again,

Thanks for the tip. Bummer…when I change preview to GOOD…and play…it looks like it did when it renders…which isn’t the cool look in preview.
I’ve been adjusting the controls on convolution kernal and can’t replicate the look I get in preview….bummer cuz it looks really cool.

Thanks for your post.
Had to do with preview monitor…somehow I was seeing the non-pixelated track instead of the total efx. I toggled the preview monitor icon and did a check and that apparently was it.

Thanks Laszlo! That did the trick and was a very big improvement!! Now we can grab “Stills” pretty much on the Fly and go back and drag them to the timeline without a problem.
I appreciate your help!

SOLVED!!: Re: Timecode Problem Vegas 6.0
Okay…I’ve somehow managed to “solve” my TC problem in Vegas 6.0. Here’s what I did…(can’t say this is how to do it…I just did it and got the desired results):
1. Went to timeline with clips already in sequence.
2. TOOLS…SCRIPT…..REMOVE TC FROM MEDIA
3. Played back clips to verify TC is gone.
4. TOOLS…SCRIPT…..ADD TC TO MEDIA
5. Played back clips to verify TC is there…original camera TC is playing for no explainable reason.
6. RESIZING TC BURN WINDOW: Placed Cursor on clip #1 and RIGHT CLICKED to open menu and CLICKED MEDIA FX…. the MEDIA FX WINDOW OPENED and I see TC PLUG IN ALREADY LOADED…Yay!!
7. WENT TO “PRESET” and LOADED previously saved TC Window preference to increase size…NDF…Lower-Third-Right for TC WINDOW BURN….and closed window
8. IT WORKS!!!Okay…don’t know if any of this mattered or not…seems to be something to do with MEDIA FX Toggling back and forth…dunno…it’s just working now and that’s all I’m concerned with at the moment.
Good Luck!
