The thing about scan converters, is they go either way. You tell it what you are inputing, and what you want the output to be. The one thing I am not sure about as I think waht you are doing, is that you need an actual input to the computer. I think I may not know how you are working the computer into the array. So if you are needing am input card in the computer itself, neither of these do what you need. For realtime throughput, I’m not sure what would be best.
Sorry I an’t be more help.

There are many units available for this. It isn’t a capture device, it is a converter.
Sony makes an excellent one. The 1024 comes in both SD and HD.
    Scan-Do is another good unit.

Google Search for Scan Converters and you will come up with several possibilities.

    Grin,
You know I love you man. I have been preparing for retirement. this isn’t fun anymore. I was watching a movie a couple days ago and when the half screen live actor promo came in over Tommy Lee Jones face and completely covered him up. I thought aobut what I have told the college grads for so many years. “Forget what you spent the last four yours learning. It isn’t done that way in the real world.” Well, that is no longer true. the geniouses that be are teaching forget about the program that people are watching it isn’t important, the important thing is to get them to watch the next program. I don’t remember the show I had started watching nor the program the promo was pushing. I changed channels immediately and decided I really don’t need to watch any of them.
I quit doing sports cause it became no fun anymore when the game became nothing more than wallpaper for the graphics. Commercials don’t sell product anymore, they are a wannabe movie producer’s method of creating a movie to build his own ego.
I started on a bigger tirade but erased it cause it really doesn’t matter anymore.

Todd and Mark have the right ideas.
I tend to occassionally stick with the guest while a question is asked, that’s where you get the eye movements and you can literally see what the guest is thinking. I love reading their minds that way.
Don’t over cut, so that the viewer can pay more attention to what is said than to what they see, other than the eyes. they are the picture to the soul as they say.
As Mark said, don’t have a set pattern, every interview is different so you have to feel the pace and let it flow.

Is it possible to send your best learning and teaching person to Chyron School?
The school is excellent, and it is hands on. I highly recommend someone go, then come back and teach everyone else while the information is still fresh, the teaching others helps in retention of what you learned.

    I feel really stupid now.
It was our IT department messing around with admin privileges. As soon as they reinstated mine, everything was working again, even uninstall in add remove programs.

New software and drivers are now intstalled and working fine.

    Sorry guys,
Operator error. But I am still concerned that I can’t find an uninstall and no way to do it in add remove programs. I would like to update drivers.

Any suggestions would help a bunch.

    Sorry,
I should have added. I checked output from After Effects and it is fine. Can’t find any setting in Premiere Pro that might be causing a problem.

Funny that you should bring this up. I know I must still have some, most changed when I switched from linear to non-linear editing. The problem is that I have been using these tricks so long I forget if anything is a trick, a cheat, a workaround, or just the way the program is supposed to work. I also work with so many different programs for specific uses. I use Premiere for some, Vegas video for some, Avid for some, and the other Adobe products for others. These are really too many different situations to be specific on each usage.
Sorry, if I can come up with something specific I will be happy to share.
