I wouldn’t recommend DVC Pro 25, if you are doing a lot of blue screen work, it is too compressed. DVC Pro 50 isn’t that much more than 25 and is comparable to Digibeta in most areas.

If you are looking at flat display, ou will have chroma information running below 7.5 and above 100% that is normal try not to allow it to get too far below or above. If the chroma starts to run too much below base line it can cause video breakup, because the signal can look at that and think it is sync and try to lock to it. &.5 black is a guide, and should be watched when looking at IRE settings.

Believe me, I was still loving what I did right throough the burnout. Loving what you are doing is no remedy for burnout. Burnout can be caused from loving what you do too much.

There was a thread some time back concerning creative burnout. I think it is time to read that thread. I’ve been there. I didn’t do anything about it at the time, or should I say the times. I let them build over years and I then broke with a total mental creative burnout that lasted close to 3 years. Fina a way to get away. Find a way to relax, take your mind off work. Find that thread and read it, con’t wait til it reaches the point mine did.

I don’t have a Mojo unit, so I have no experience in that configuration. The only thing I can think of is the media drive may not be fast enough to handle your playback, especially if you are using 1:1 and/or HD playback. That needs a throughput that possibly is too fast for you system. I’m sure others with more experience in that particular system can help you more.
