Problem importing JPEG’s
Posted by Bp on June 21, 2005 at 8:17 pmHello,
I’m working on a project and a few jpeg’s won’t import into my project in AE 6.5 on a PC platform. The error I’m getting is the following:
After Effects error: the file format module could not parse the file
(45: :35)Any idea exactly what this means?

June 21, 2005 at 8:38 pmThe images might be CMYK, not RGB. If you have Photoshop, you can convert them to RGB.

You hold the distinction of being the first guy to post anywhere on the new quad Opteron

June 22, 2005 at 3:57 pmCongratulations, I was wondering what was different since there seem to be no cookies working, and my mail box was empty this morning.
Looking forward to a bigger and better and fatter COW.

June 22, 2005 at 4:10 pmThanks, Charlie. The quad Opteron really screams and we are hearing from people all around the world who have written us to say, “Wow! This is f-a-a-s-s-s-t-t-t!!!” and stuff like that. Nice to hear as the Cow had gotten so slow lately, I really struggled surfing it.
Yes, there are bugs and cookie issues that need to be ironed out and are getting ironed out very quickly. (We squashed a bunch yesterday and have a few more we’ve squished this morning and by day’s end, I am sure things will have settled down quite a bit.)
Being that this is an entirely new box with an entirely different mechanism, that is why the cookies need to be reset when you visit the forums you are used to visiting.
In the end, it is going to be a far superior solution and well worth the changeover issues.
Best always, Charlie.
