I did that in After Effects, and it made the comp so big all my graphics fell off, is there maybe a smaller dpi that I can use that is safe to still look “decent”?

my company just purchased Invigorator classic based on my suggestion because they wanted to do 3d text. They want to be able to fly around the text and it be totally 3d, are you guys saying Invigorator won’t do this? you’ve got me worried now X_X

ohhhh no, I think it would be very 2d, clean simple design, no need to hang myself with 3d, maybe the next project I’ll move up to the 3d world 🙂

I must have asked a scary question cuz no one wants to try and answer! thanks Anita for your response, I can’t believe there isn’t a plug-in that would allow you to do something like that. The only other method I can think of is using AE’s built in drawing effect where you draw with the mouse, saw it in college and never used it again, guess I’ll have to animate it with masks and Illustrator *sigh… when I’m a business owner, and rich enough to produce a plug-in, I’ll create one for this effect 🙂

ehh, to be a little more clear as to what I’m asking for, what would be the best method for creating ‘always wiggling a little bit’ lines and basic drawing type stuff. Up until now if I wanted something to draw out I would use an animated mask, is there an easier way? or different way?

Do you have both pieces of text in the same layer? if so, you need to delete one piece of text and create a new text layer, then type your second text in there. then you will be independently moving two pieces of text.

Sorry if this is a little obvious but your question was pretty broad and I don’t know what your skill level is.

yeah, up until a few weeks ago I’ve been using it as a DV camera as well, but I bought it for HDV and was sadly disappointed. about two weeks ago I fixed my problems, on the site you mentioned there is a thread dedicated to my problem. They explain that you must create a special workflow in Compressor and run all your footage through, it works great, you can also purchase Automatic Duck, which streamlines this process. I’m writing this in the hopes that anyone else having the same problem I had will be able to fix it.
