  • I tried to find the bugreport by following the directory path in the error notice but I cannot find it. Have tried spotlight search for Maxon Cinema 4D R22 folder, it locates the one in the applications folder but no bugreports in this. Also have tried spotlight searching bugreport.txt but no files come up for this!

Because that’s what works for me – personal preference 🙂

    Will try uninstalling thanks.

    I’d say it was around a week ago…. I’m running version 17.5.0

It may have ben after an auto update as I noticed the aftereffects image when it boots up is now different.

Is there anyway I can install FCP keyboard shortcuts?

Or wondering if its best to keep the 5D footage at 720 then allow FCP to scale it up when it is dropped on the timeline

    Thanks.

That worked. I just set my presets and brought the wav back in and it synced up fine. Did an XML to check it was NTSC FALSE and timebase 25. All good, thanks!

Also just to add I have discovered that if I change the speed of this wav file to 99.9% on my FCP timeline then it syncs up fine. Don’t know if this helps shed any light on why/where the problem is.

but FCP doesn’t allow you to alter the frame rate of a timeline that has already has an edit on it.

nope… didn’t have to render at all and there didn’t appear to be any issues with the speed at which the footage played back, hence why i didn’t pick up on it.

If if create a new sequence at 23.98 fps and simply duplicate the edit into this, the time increases from 9mins 30 to 10 mins. This means that the sound mix which is a .wav is now playing all out of sync.

    ok

I didn’t shoot the footage and was handed it already digitised and in a FCP project. The specs of the raw footage in FCP states fps at 23.98 and compression codec as DVCPro HD 720p60, size at 960×720.

So from that I should have worked native on a timeline that matches this. However the fps of my timeline is set to 25fps with the compression codec set to DVCPro HD 720p60 and size 960×720.

So my final product is a PAL movie when it should be 23.98 fps (NTSC) no?
