Cineware: Application Error when rendering from After effects
I am working in after effects and have some 3D models used within the composition from cinema 4d files. When I set the after effects compositions to render they fail with the error ‘Cineware Application Error’ (screen shot of full error message attached). I have tried setting the 3D renderer in the composition settings to cinema 4D instead of classic 3D which at first seemed to work when I tested it, but has also just failed with the same message. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Was there any helpful info in the bug report? Maybe an error code?

I tried to find the bugreport by following the directory path in the error notice but I cannot find it. Have tried spotlight search for Maxon Cinema 4D R22 folder, it locates the one in the applications folder but no bugreports in this. Also have tried spotlight searching bugreport.txt but no files come up for this!

Perhaps it’s a hidden file? You could try enabling hidden files like this: https://www.pcmag.com/how-to/how-to-access-your-macs-hidden-files
