    i agree with ben. faster cpu = faster rendering.

    even this quad 2.5 g5 is taking long to render dvcprohd… i need 8 core NOW. magic bullet look suite + misfire takes long

    i look forward to hearing your reviews… im monthes away from buying metasan and metalan and using gbe.. .right now i have a $50 netgear gigabit switch lol. let me know your xfer rates with the smc. thanks

    hookup a computer with a lot of storage thats raided… connect to it through the network.. youll get at least 50mb/sec with one drive. someone told me that gigabit is a lot faster with pcs than macs.

    yeah i called the camera guy.. i had to set the settings to enable the dv av out on the camera.. he gave me the camera in a case without the viewfinder attached.. didnt think i had to put the camera together and edit settings… thanks for your time

    before my choice was an f500 and your lucky if you can get it for under 700/day

    btw, can you take a look at my post up top about stability problems.. this is so frustrating, im thinking about just reinstalling the os and fcp pro studio.. it might be that my project file is over 500mb but i still dont see any justification for faulty/unstable software. i should perhaps start dividing my project. all these issues make me want to finance an avid adrenaline, haha and spendin 20k is the LAST thing i want to do 🙁

    i have a regular blackburst.. wow.. i had no idea that i didnt need tri-level for 29.97. thanks a lot… well the 30k deck makes for cheaper rentals 300/day is what i was quoted. take care -c

    damn i hate forgetting to add details.. using decklink hd extreme (man i regret not getting aja) and working no dvcpro hd 1080i60 aquired from p2… have a good weekend

    thank j.. yeah its 1080i 29.97. what do you mean by any ole bb. it has to be tri-level which is expensive anyway you look at it no? obviously i would rent. and ot i hear sony is releasing a $30k hdcam player/recorder. Someone told me i could rent for 300/day which is very cheap to output hdcam masters. im new to the fcp/hd world as you know, so school me plz -c
