crashing while rendering
really the only plugns i use are magic bullet and eureka silk stalking.. if i render a few clips it works fine.. if i render a lot ill get out of memory errors, any most of the time a crash… fcp just closes and i get an error report popup. im using a g5 quad with nvidia geforce 7800gt vid card. fcp 5.1.2 i cant work in such unstable conditions…. im thinking should i reinstall everything including os, maybe just fcp studio, get a new video card, etc… this is unbarable 🙁 thanks again -c

damn i hate forgetting to add details.. using decklink hd extreme (man i regret not getting aja) and working no dvcpro hd 1080i60 aquired from p2… have a good weekend

Hi.
Try removing the slik stocking plug in from the plug ins folder and see if that helps. I have no idea if those are FCP 5.1.2 compatible. The plug in architecture has changed a bit in FCP 5.1.2.
