I guess what i’m trying to ask is, if having the internet running in the background takes up any additional processor power or RAM. If i were to render a project offline would it perhaps render a little faster, i guess is my question.

Luminance, and then of course getting rid of the very obvious and prominent mask line. So that just the clothes are iluminated not the area around the person.

Actually it was one of your projects i viewed on your site that inspired me to try this out (the latin dancers one with the purple dress and the other with the yellow dress). How might i accomplish that, but with white and with only one person?
I dont believe ive ever used color curves. Is it pretty self explainatory to use or should i view a tutorial?

Thanx for the quick response Gary! Ive used this feature before to reveal a travel line on a map, but that was easy because it was a stright line and easy to mask. If I use the mask bezier will it look like someone writting in the order they would really write, for example in cursive you would write the word then dot the i’s and cross the t’s, or will it just look like a linear wipe as the font is revealed?
The look im goin for, i saw (as part of the end credits) on the end of the 24 TV series DVD’s (at least on the latest season that was released).
