I’ve made a little research and it seems that with Matrox mini MXO2 (thunderbolt) and a good LED HDTV I will be able to view my timeline from FCPX in HD as a program monitor. Is that right?
Of course with an Apple Display it would be better but it is 1000 bucks more….
    Thanks

OK, now I got it… put the sequence of frames on the timeline, mark’em all, control D, write 1 frame and return, this way there is only one frame of each picture and the animation can be exported.

    Tom:
Tried to do what you suggested but using control D does nothing and using command D creates a new set of images. I did it on the set of images in the event library. Can you please explain in more detail what did you do.
    Thanks

Yes, it is 50i, should I expect better results on 60i?, at least it is a more moderate change…
    Thanks

April 16, 2012 at 8:20 pm in reply to: Blue Ray for Europe (24 fps or 25 fps)

I am new to Encore, tired of other poor authoring softwres, inclufing the FCP option. I shoot 1080i50, 25fps, my question, how is quality of the conversion from 1080i50 AppleProRes made in FCP to 24p in Encore?
I understand that 24p can read in any bluray player no matter if it is not a multisystem.
    Thanks
