I tried upper field and got the same result. I’m checking them on a monitor though instead of using a DVD player because I don’t have access to one. Maybe that’s the issue?

Yes I have tried to move it all to a mac formatted drive, but the content on the timeline in that copied project doesn’t show up, it’s just offline. What I wanted to do was collect all the media and copy it onto a mac formatted drive, but I can’t do that if I can’t even open the project!

Consolidating seems to be exactly what I want to do. How do I go about doing it?

If anyone in the future is interested, I figured out the problem. It’s because the external HD I received was PC formatted and I’m working on a mac. I downloaded the program Paragon which allows my mac to read PC drives.
