Just since the upgrade that I’ve noticed. I moved the audio render to a seperate RAID and trashed the preferences again(I had done it 2 days ago) and I seem to be having less issues. Don’t know which helped.

  • Not sure about the pixel part, but for the alpha channel export as animation, millions of colors+, at 99% quality.

This one got me after upgrading to 5.0 as well. In the log and capture window you need to uncheck (mute) audio channels 3-12. You’ll have to scroll down on the clip setting window audio section to see it. I still haven’t figured out how to tell it stereo or ch1+2 though. Anyone?

Doesn’t your UVW-1800 complain then that it doesn’t have a reference?

I’m close but still not quite getting it. One thing I didn’t mention is that the offline edit was on another computer, so the files are off-line at the moment. The original full interviews were named “int 1” and now have names that reference what is being said.

    In Media Manager I’m selecting

    Media: Create offline
Set sequences to: Blackmagic NTSC 8-bit

Include master clips outside selection: unchecked
delete unused medis from duplicated sequence: checked
    Use handles: checked 1;00
Include affilitae clips outside selection: unchecked

base media file names: on clip names

Project: duplicate selected sequence is grayed out.

These setting create a new project for me that includes the sequence and a bin with all the clips. The clips all now have numbers added to them which I do not undertsand. When I then ask to batch capture it gives me the “Duplicate Item Filename” stuff. Why is that? What are the random numbers it added to the clip names? What should I select when I ask to batch capture? Thanks for the help.
