Hi Andrew, thanks for the reply. I transfer cine film to DVD/digital format. I’m capturing from an MWA FlashSCAN8 machine, through a Blackmagic Teranex 2D box and into Premiere Pro 5. The client not only wants SD files, but also HD. Because the format of cine film is 4:3, PP5 keeps the 16:9 format and drops black pillars each side of the film. I think this is quite acceptable, but the client has asked for the HD to be supplied as a 4:3 file…

Thanks for all your advice. I’ve decided to purchase AVS Video Converter and it has seemed to do the job.

    Hi Danny,

Thanks for the reply. I’ve taken on board what you said and I have attached a photo to illustrate the problem.

As you can see there are 4 chapters and I can use the keypad on the DVD remote to navigate to each one of them. But it won’t let me navigate down to the “main menu” button and so I can’t go back from the sub menu to the main menu and “play” the video production from the start.

It’s got to be something extremely simple that I’ve overlooked… Hopefully you can help. Cheers, Bruce

    Hi Brian,
I’m running Windows 7 Home Premium. Are you having any problems exporting to DVD in Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0, or can you burn without a problem? Cheers, Bruce

    Hi Vince,
Thanks for the reply. The computer is brand new (Quad core, etc.) along with the burner. I’ve burnt files direct to it, so I know it works. I’ll have a look at the Adobe website to see if there are any updates. Cheers, Bruce
