Vegas 9 used to drive me crazy with this error. Once I went to v.10, problem went away completely.

Does this printer print directly on to the DVD? or onto a sticker.

Vegas optimizes itself for the editing process. Usually, editing is performed in one format, but output may be several formats. Therefore, you optimize the app for the editing process.

Sorry Spot, I don’t follow. Vegas is supposed to be an open timeline, why do we need a project setting template if our medium of delivery doesn’t have to be decided until the end of the editing process? What do we lose or gain by originating in the template that is most akin to the medium of final render?

I didn’t know anti virus software can affect capture. I’ll try and disable and see what happens.
    Thanks.

The audio on the timeline is also bad. “Garbled” might be the wrong word, more like “Broken”. It sounds almost as if there was a bad connection on the xlr cables, of course there were no cables cuz it’s from the built in camera mic.

Suppose you’re mixing 16:9 and 4:3 on the same timeline. You want it to play on 4:3 and 16:9 sets without distortion. Still use NTSC wide screen?

“You didn’t render to the NTSC widescreen template?”

I just used the default template.

Thanks for the reply. I’m not really changing the content, I’ll use the same photos and words, just have it layed out properly by a real web designer, instead of me and the lame tripod DIY.

I already have a good position. I’m trying to figure out if changing the layout and the host will cause me to lose my position on google.

Who says you’re lying? I just want to know what the advantages of burning in Nero are. You say it’s lacking. That’s pretty vague.
