The aeselflink processes are additional After Effects render engines that are spawned when multiprocessing is turned on. Assuming you have enough physical RAM to multiprocess, AND that no other applications/processes are using the RAM it works well in most circumstances.
There are 2 things that may help. First use the secret preferences to purge memory every 30 frames or so. Hold down the shift key as you select General Preferences to access the Secret prefs.

If that doesn’t do it, turn multiprocessing off for this render.
