    Yeah you have a good point there… Time remapping is a nice way around it.. good idea.

    Too bad AE doesn’t let you slip and slide multiple clips on the same layer like traditional editing apps… maybe in a future release they will add that and layer folders like they did in photoshop.

    Yeah that’s pretty much the deal, except I probably wouldn’t interpret/loop it, but just manually place instances on the comp. Typing is usually at an irregular pace, so the timing will have to be in step with your sound track.

    Are you using Export from the FILE menu, or are you using the render queue/manager? You may be able to get more control over the compression and size settings.

    Also, if you export to animation codec and still want to use MPEG2, I suggest using Episode Pro. It’s a high quality, FAST encoder. Why apple’s compressor takes SO LONG to compress video is beyond me…

    MPEG2 is not just for DVD. It’s used for all HD standards as well. Sounds like our friend wants to output to a an HD television that has a 1366×768 format display.
