Do you, by chance, have Motion? If you do, you should be able to accomplish the same results with Motion…just right click on your clips in FCP and tell it to send to Motion…edit and manipulate in Motion, save file in motion and it automatically updates back in your Fina Cut timeline.

Hey there…google “too much too soon final cut plugins”. They are free and includes a great flashframe transition effect.

Hi there…had to crash in, but “-R’s” are more compatible as far as I know on the 4.7 discs, but as far as dual layer goes…dual layer is not dependable until the more recent players are released that are compatible to dual layer discs. If I am wrong, someone can chime in because it still a bit sketchy to me. I’ve had hit or miss with dual layer discs.

    Eric,

Thanks…and yeah, I just ran across some info saying the same. Go figure…quicktime conversion had a little more control if I remember correctly, which most times I don’t.

    Thanks again for your help.

Is it a no, no to adjust capture settings in the log and capture capture settings, because it will let you do it. Only thing is right now I can’t get the options to come up. I’ve done this several times before and it will work, no problem. I’m just trying to weed out any serious problems with the system.

    Thanks again

The Nattress film effects are great for tweaking in FCP. Get better render times than with Magic Bullet.

    Hope this is helpful.

I would agree on locking the camera and getting the shot without your actor and, depending on if you want it to look like real cheese, cut him out and shatter him as well as creating your smoke in particle world.
