Log and Capture Window issue
Hi there,
Here is a little poser I’ve run into. Nothing major, yet, but when you go into FCP’s log and capture mode, then go to the capture settings, the capture/input will not activate in that it will not give you all of your capture input options, but if you go into FCP’s easy setup the options can be selected there. I don’t know if this has something to do with the AJA or with the software? Let me know your thoughts.

By the way, the system it’s running on is a dual 2 gig G5, 2 gigs memory, AJA, OS 10.3.8, FCP 4.5

It has nothing to do with the AJA. You just cannot access these settings with the Capture window open. Choose the settings, THEN open the Log and Capture window.

Is it a no, no to adjust capture settings in the log and capture capture settings, because it will let you do it. Only thing is right now I can’t get the options to come up. I’ve done this several times before and it will work, no problem. I’m just trying to weed out any serious problems with the system.
