Thank you very much for the reply.
I’ll include a shooting note to clap a few times at the start of each recording.
I hadn’t thought of audio drifting. So I just need to make sure the Atomos, second gh5, and field recorder record at the same sample rate (I assume there isn’t any reason to go above 44.1 for an interview).
Thanks again.

Alrighty, thanks for the info.

most of the time, I just scrub the playhead to where I want a keyframe and then input a value – which places a keyframe. I don’t typically hit the keyframe button (the diamond) to make keyframes. Is this bad practice?

Thanks. I assume you now understand the bug though. I’ll repost in the correct forum.

I know you don’t click keys to edit them. Here’s another video which may better demonstrate what I’m talking about. I’m re-editing keys that I previously made, and all of them function correctly except the last one. Changing the value of the last key makes a new key between 2 frames. Believe me – I KNOW this shouldn’t be happening, but you can clearly see it in the video. Once the fumbled key has been placed, it can no longer be editing using the playhead. The playhead will Not land on it as it’s not on a frame.

The above is a quick demo of what my problem is. In AE, I’m easily able to select the keys I want to edit. In Premiere, the only way I’m able to select keys is by using the Next Key buttons.

I know. 😛
Again, the problem is that I’m unable to select keyframes. I can only select Frames. However, keyframes can be placed between frames, which is what happens 90% of the time I place keys.
So, say I place a keyframe somewhere in the Effect Controls. 2 minutes later, I want to edit that keyframe. I can NOT place the red marker ON the keyframe to select that particular one for editing. I’ll upload a short video later today to demonstrate what’s going on. I think I’m just not being understood here.

I stand corrected. I shouldn’t have said milliseconds. Why am I unable to edit keyframes by putting my [red line marker thingy] on top of said keyframe? This is what boggles me. After I have initially made a keyframe, the ONLY way I’ve been able to successfully re-edit that keyframe is by clicking the arrow buttons on the left hand side. I have yet to successfully place my [red line marker thingy] on top of a keyframe to edit it.
So, say I have 35 keyframes in a Write-On sequence for a cursive-style title. I should be able to select indidivual keyframes to edit them instead of clicking the right or left arrows [next keyframe] 25 times to get to the keyframe I want to edit.
Am I making any sense?

Weird thing happened. The memory cap remained at 60% for the first probably 15 minutes of the render process, which I assume is correct behavior…then out of the blue, it started raising beyond the cap of 60% and by the time it was at 87%, it gave me the Keylight has run out of memory error message. I was running with 5 cores turned on.
It’s gotta be a bug with Keylight or AE, yeah?

I now have 12 gigs of ram installed and when it renders out, it still shows a % of 3 gigs being used in the render queue. Shouldn’t that number be much higher?
