You can select a clip without the mouse by using the track selection tool to isolate the track where the clip is – then mark in and out and then Option-A to select the clip. A bit cumbersome but I was bored one day and wanted to figure how to do this in case I lost the desire to use a mouse. As far as flipping from clip to clip – not sure except to repeat this process.

I sometimes export using the iPhone setting in QT7 then take that file and export a wmv from that. Just my method for nice looking wmv.

AJA customer service is fantastic. They sent me a new card the next day, no questions asked. It works!
Seems like I had the phantom power switch on my Mackie 1202 turned on and it blew a gasket in the Kona LHe. Be warned…Final Cut Studio 3 Editor

Thank you for your reply. I did that and I can hear the music very very low in the distance with lots of hum and crackling. Sound is coming out of the Kona but it is very very weak. I tried it with both the cables out of the card and with the breakout box so I’m mystified.

Yes, I save all the time. The crashing is caused by the fact that I use so many Motion projects in my sequences. I have learned to live with it rather than making endless quicktime movies….
Seems to be just one of those things that makes Final Cut Studio not that stable.Thanks anyway.

Sorry if I am unclear. I mean that I want to re-render the entire sequence in ProRes instead of DVCPRO50 and when I do, some of the Boris 3D titles get messed up big time. When I set the compressor back to DVCPRO50, the titles are fine.
