I though it was resolution related too, but I tried it on a 720p clip in a 720p project and the scaling effect was the same. Thanks for looking into it. This will be very useful to me if this gets resolved.

This looks like exactly what I need for my current project…except that it scales my clip by about 150% with no option to change that. Why does it do that?

It looks like a lot of effort went into this. Thanks for the free download.

I haven’t experienced this myself, but a good first step would be to update to 10.0.3 and see if that happens to fix the problem.

Thanks, all, for the tips. These will come in handy.

Frank, I agree. That would be great.

Thanks for shedding some definitive light. At least now I can stop trying to figure out how to do it.

The other day I had 3 different clips made up of the same still image. Each clip had a different animated transform to pan/zoom for emphasizing 3 different areas of the photo. After creating the animation I had to perform the same color correction to each clip. I should have done color first and copied it to the other clips, but I didn’t.

Another example: I wanted to copy a vignette to multiple clips that have different color correction on them. It was a manual vignette using a second color correction with shape mask.

Ah…yes. On my standard issue Apple keyboard the backspace key is labeled “delete”. Glad you got it figured out.

I’m guessing you’re trying to delete the default effects that automatically appear in the inspector. Color, Transform, Crop, etc can’t be deleted. The ones you add on can be deleted.

Is there a way to copy and paste the parameters of a single effect? I needed that today and couldn’t figure out how to do it. I know the cmd-opt-V, but that takes the entire set of effects from your source clip and applies them to the destination clip replacing whatever effects were on the destination clip. I needed to take a single effect from the source clip and ADD it to the effects already applied to my destination clip. Possible? A search here yielded no answer to this specifically. Sorry if this is too off topic, but since copying effects was brought up…
