[Michael W. Towe] “So what’s the solution? Render to the Lossless codec with “Straight” alpha. You will need to render after import, but the alpha will be correct and the black will be gone.

I used Animation, which seemed to work. Are there any other alpha channels with a “Straight” alpha?

    Thank you for the reply.

I have gone through the steps but I can’t seem to find the ‘alpha handling’ section. Video inspector shown below.

    Thank you.

Thanks Walter for the reply. I seem to be having some trouble using the mask path. See, the logo already has a mask over it to eliminated unwanted areas. I can’t seem to animate the path, so its animating perfectly around the circle (from the bottom to the top, like in the example), things just get a-bit complicated from here, trying to adjust the mask manually etc, (my knowledge is very limited towards masking as you can tell).

The most simple option, was adjusting the mask expansion, however the animation only seems to work from the centre.

    Thank you.

[John Cuevas] “MPEG2 is a pretty lossy compression, that might explain some of the crunchiness. Does your Master(apple prores lt) look bad?

    Hi John,

Yes, apple pro res lt looks bad as well. SD graphics as always been a problem when it comes to quality output.

[Christopher Gomersall] “Are the graphics vector? Are you rasterizing them in the timeline? There are so many things that it could be. Without more info we are stabbing in the dark.

    Hi Christopher,

No, my graphic are not vector (check AE file to make certain, im still new to AE). I also have not been rasterizing, do I have to pre-comp to use this function?

[John Cuevas] ” Do you need to get a 100% match(client likes it), or is this just a font you like and want to get? “

Thanks John once again and thank you Kevin! The font is for a client (they can be very picky).

I tried your idea, and would like to get a second opinion.

What’s leaving me uncertain about this font is two things are different, the number “7” and lower case “i” both have different looks.
