June 19, 2016 at 7:42 pm in reply to: BLuray motion menu with video. What am i doing wrongWel its definetly the .psd file because when i remove the cached version from the source folder and Encore gives me a generic placeholder menu it actually renders and plays the video

Hi, I am having a similar problem with a Element 3D tutorial. I’m using a light over a camera layer which in turn is over a mask layer and last but not least the gray solid. The ring banding is caused by the mask layer. Cant figure out whats causing it. adding certain effects or re-setting to 16bt per channel doesnt help. I havent tried a new Codec though. I’m working on a new PC with premiere and after effects 5.5

Hi Daniel,
Tried that. Each chapter has it’s playlist (not a chapterplaylist, just a regular playlist) Each list is in a folder and according to the flowchart everything should work fine but it doesnt. The chapters dont do what they need to with or without an end action on the chaptermarkers.
I should point out that im testing Blu-Ray discs and Blu-ray iso’s on my PC with PowerDVD software. The Blu-ray player that my parents own seems to do its job properly and obey the seperate playlists i made for each chapter.

If ti happens to me I wait until PP thinks all media are loaded and the i close the program all2gether by clicking the close window X on PP. If i reopen it the renderfiles seem to be back again. I the save it.
Dont close the project, close the program if it happens.

November 18, 2012 at 2:37 pm in reply to: Sony EX1r sound in editing. How to separate the channelsPremiere breaks the audio file up in 2 mono’s but what i want is a sort of pre-split file which gives me the camera’s channel 2 only. The thing is. Channel 1 recorded the surroundings of where i was yesterday and channel 2 somebodys microphone. i want the microphone only. Premiere keeps both channels, regardless of me splitting it into different output channels.
So i need the camera to output channel 2 only.

November 18, 2012 at 2:30 pm in reply to: Sony EX1r sound in editing. How to separate the channelsHmm that still isnt quite it. I can do things to split to mono in Premiere pro but what i want is to get 1 channel from the camera only. In pre it still results in both camera channels. I’ve tried it in different ways (set the audio for the project in differetn ways, split audio, mix split audio with a copy of the unsplit track etc.
