Just checked. It looks like it’s $100.00 off. ($299.00) not $100.00.i7 2600 3.4 Ghz 8Gig Ram , Win 7 Pro, Vegas Pro 12

I’m on build 563..no real issues with it. No crashes. So I guess I’ll stick with that.
I working with mixed file formats, HDV, Quicktime animation, a few tracks of text, and wave files. Not a lot of plug ins, but high track count, with a lot of pan and crop, and track motion.

December 9, 2013 at 9:46 pm in reply to: butting 2 events with fades without losing my fades….I was just logging on to ask this exact same question.
I ALWAYS have quantize to frames on.
Are you saying that dragging an audio event can pull the associated video off the frame??
Thanks I’ll look at my edit closely

Make sure your project setting match your media otherwise vegas tries to convert on the fly.

Hey thanks for the link!
Those files play very nice with Vegas even long dissolves the frame rate hold rock solid using best full preview ( @25p 72meg sec). The cpu usage is very low. Wow
Thanks

October 25, 2013 at 12:53 pm in reply to: Audio suggestions needed-Church audio not so good!Isotrope does have a new plug-in that is designed to reduce reverb. I’ve never tried it it but the denoise is amazing. It may not be designed for this type of audio but you can download a demo and try it.

I have seen this.
And I doubt it is a bug in 12.
When your project settings do not match your media settings preview can slow down a lot. In Vegas pro12 open your project settings.
Near the top, to the right of the template name, you will see a little film strip with arrow. Click that, it will match your project setting to a file you select. Select a file from your project. See if things get better. ( I also keep gpu off)
I think in 11 the project setting happened to match your media better.
Also was the go pro shooting 60 FPS? Are the files 1920i?

I would expect this is a good question for the Adobe forum.
I cannot answer you multichannel audio question.
I am NOT an AE user. BUT
I do export video’s for use in protools. When working in Pro Tools on a film project I want a good quality video, but I also want low cpu usage because I want as much possible for the audio processing.
Recently I started using Motion Jpeg A, 720P (I believe this is under quicktime)
This name sounds very unglamorous but I was surprised at how good it looked, combined with low cpu usage. The only down side is it’s file size a good deal bigger then an .mp4.
Hope this helps, I have no idea what adobe thinks of this file, but it looks sharp and Quicktime, Vegas, and Protools all seen to handle with ease.

I sent you an email via your web site. Funny thing was on mobile I saw the email in the drop down menu, but when I used a full browser I had a hard time finding it.
