    Hello Jon Simpson

    There’s a solution to that

I textured your butterfly wings and it flapped without the texture going on or off

Check the video of the butterfly flapping without the texture going on or off

    Here is what I did

I simply deleted the old texture and created new one and also also delete other tags as well

Try deleting the texture and tags then create a new but if the problem continues then you have to try out different render engines aside the one you’re currently using which will surely worked out for you 100%

You you want to know the render I used then it was C4D standard render

Let me know if you have any other questions

    THANKS

    The answer is these

You can try these out since it’s AOV

Go to AOV dialogue box then change RGB to RGBA and that’s all

    Secondly

To clearly get what the problem or error is then you should pipe the material to output so that you see the error and correct it

NOTE- The ramp is piped straight to output

Now to actually save time of piping the items with a new node editor just solo it using the hot key “S”

    Thanks

First thing is to input the shape then go to subdivision surface -object
Click extrude – Drag shape into extrude (ensure it’s flat surface) -Drag the material that you want under object into the image- Then view the shape in front view in flat shape then click tag- Fit to region- Click on the top left corner on the view port and drag over it to the end of the image(like cropping it)
Then finally go back to your perspective view where it will be fit
Check the video below for guide
    THANKS

  • Redshift is a different engine that comes with a unique and different settings

So to exclude just the HDR so it only reflects actual objects in the scene Try turn to off enable background setting for dome light
