If you are on the Mac, make sure to run AvidFX 6.03 available as free download from our website:

BCC Optical Stabilizer is different. The stabilizer effect that we showed in RED is based on a point tracker that would anchor the image based on one moving point. Unfortunately, the only solution for this effect is RED at the moment. Now, that I see how practical and useful this effect is we may consider adding it to BCC in the future but not for the BCC8 release. The good news is that there is an affordable crossgrade from BCC to RED, feel free to contact our sales lines.

Try BCC Witness Protection filter. It may do exactly what you are looking for. Otherwise, use Pixel Chooser for cropping/masking and apply built-in Motion Tracker to Pixel Chooser region. See an example here:

Problem is acknowledged and fixed internally. Another update is coming soon. This problem is very specific to Vegas 11.

I’ll try to answer all questions in one post:
– old Avid timelines with Avid FX should open fine with MC6 – AvidFX 6 combo, let us know if you see something strange
– Avid timelines with RED 4 effects will not immediately open in Avid FX 6. We are working on a compatibility solution.
– BCC 8 AVX is available for MC 6 – 64 bit now! Older Avids will be supported in near future.

Unfortunately, this problem is new in Vegas 11. We are working with Sony engineering team to find a solution. I’ll report any progress on this thread.
