do mean that the audio file should not be an .aiff in order to be imported into avid xpress dv??

then, what should i do to get a WAV out of the .aiff?

for some reason, i get along very well with this community and my multiple and vary problems on final cut, and today i decided to edit on avid, and the inaertia brought me here.

and i can capture from the camera,
but i cannot output the sequence back to the camera.

well… yes, it has worked before with 10.4.6 and i have QT 7.0.4
but it has worked previously…

also i wonder why is it that it can’t communicate when launching avid xpress dv?

one more thing:
if i want to export a 4-5min sequence to email it to friends, what compression should i use?
i spend hours trying them all, and maybe it is something everybody already knows, but silly me 🙁
