July 22, 2005 at 5:15 pm in reply to: slow rendering

Well the audio was massaged in audition and reimported…I have some 2d particle stuff which was rendered in Particle Illusion and exported back out…have some dissolves..and some stock footage….

  • I am no expert but in my experience the new Sound Forge is a lot like Audition 1.5 as they are both for audio fx and editing..I believe both now support both DX and VST plugins.

Acid is primarily for music composition.

As far as which is better for audio fx and editing it would be your personal preference…I got adobe audition 1.5 mainly because there were a lot of teach yourself books (along with CD or DVD) at Amazon that allowed me to learn the software quickly.

Yes it can but then I tried to import another project and it just stalled…it sits there while the memory just keeps dropping (I use pc booster and can visually see it…) and then I have to go into task manager and manually stop premiere pro…this does NOT happen with premiere 6.5 any ideas

June 30, 2005 at 4:04 pm in reply to: Why stereo DV captured as mono?

In my experience it was the camerman. I had shot severa days worth on location and when I got back home and captured it, it was in mono except for the footage started when I fired that camerman and got another one and all that footage was in stereo.

Other than that I have had no problems.
