How does Adobe Audition 1.5 compare with programs like Acid and Sound Forge?
Can forum members share their thoughts on the capabilities of Audition 1.5 vs. what Acid and Sound Forge can do?

I am no expert but in my experience the new Sound Forge is a lot like Audition 1.5 as they are both for audio fx and editing..I believe both now support both DX and VST plugins.
Acid is primarily for music composition.
As far as which is better for audio fx and editing it would be your personal preference…I got adobe audition 1.5 mainly because there were a lot of teach yourself books (along with CD or DVD) at Amazon that allowed me to learn the software quickly.
