I wanted to render the first 30 minutes of my video project in premiere and it started off with 50 minutes…when I returned an hour later it said..and I am being serious….2 months? Huh?

Premiere was the only thing running

    3.00 gigahertz Intel Pentium 4
    16 kilobyte primary memory cache
    1024 kilobyte secondary memory cache
Board: ASUSTeK Computer Inc. P4P800-E Rev 1.xx

    2.5 GB of memory//////

No offense but 2 months seems a little long…..?

Rendered in Particle Illusion could be a problem. And is the stock footage standard DV AVI?

The Particle Illusion video resolution may not match your project settings, but still should not take very long….use the work area bar to isolate half your project and note projected render times, then use the half and half again ritual to isolate the problem child.
