Erik, those are the not features you’re looking for…. (finishes waving hand in front of Erik)…. re-read the first 10 posts, I’m sure you’ll be convinced that a boomerang/SASE/oh ok, call it “send to”, is really what will solve the world’s ills. You need to look at the bigger picture… I don’t understand why you guys think those are all so important. There’s lots of other ways to skin that cat. What you REALLY need to improve your workflow would be the ability to Roundtrip Compound Clips to Motion. Now THAT’S what we’re talking about.

If you put the prefix “Pro” on your products, it’ll be a game-changer. And remember to not point out the limitations and limited variation of your effects. But make LOTS of them, with really cool names. Like IndieGrundgeLensGateweaveFlareBurn (yeah, that’s one effect. Very killer. Shows you’ve got street cred.)

I like my DVCProHD on P2.
Tape = shedding, head clogs, dropouts, stiction, alignment issues. Really fun tape problems included D2 track overwrites and D1 humidity problems.

By reference, they’re referring to a Quicktime 7 reference movie; it only contains audio, and has “pointers” for it’s video assets. Full resolution & quality at a fraction of the size of self-contained. Veyr handy. Not possible in QT X.
